Pressure on Mother Earth ( Drowning )
36" by 36"
Oil Painted Collage

Overpopulation has pushed creatures to smaller and smaller habitats. Mother Earth is is shown here as a drowning female figure, below the water surface represents mankind and it's ever conquering aspirations. The animals are left to tiny islands, barely above water.

It's Mother Earth and the pressures of sustaining wildlife amid exploding population and development.

Currently on Display at Leedy Voulkos Art Center

  1. I have to admit that upon first sight I did not see the whole picture. Kudos for making an image that reveals a "bigger picture". Good showing old man, great showing!

  2. I am really enjoying these pieces. Conceptually, both are grounded in deep thought. Visually, considering the amount of thought put into each piece, the information is provided with clarity and detail that took, I'm certain, lots of time, patience, and one hell of a steady hand. In other words, awesome work bro.
