Overpopulation leads to all conflict, with only 30 years of Oil left on the planet, and many countries growing short in water supply. Wars of the future will be about resources. The piece is figurative, her waistline represents 1850 and her head represents 2050. Resources are visually represented by Rail lines, Industry, Highways, Homes, Water Supply and Fuel. It's Mother Earth and the pressures of sustaining peace amid dwindling fuel and water, juxtaposed by exploding population.
